Bermuda Economic Development Corporation [BEDC] hosted a virtual cybersecurity information session to help all interested small and medium-sized business protect their information.

  • The Bermuda Economic Development Corporation [BEDC] will be hosted a virtual Lunch & Learn information session tomorrow Nov 20. A representative of the corporation indicated to the public that companies are targeted regardless of their size. This address a common misconception among many corporations believing they are too small to be targeted.
  • The spokesperson further invited all interested in becoming more cyber-aware to protect their businesses to join the session at 12.30 pm for a presentation by the Cybersecurity Governance Board.
  • Brett Henshilwood, Partner at Deloitte Bermuda with extensive experience in risk management and internal controls audit experience within the financial services industry. He chairs the Education Committee of the Cybersecurity Governance Board was stated to be there to offer his advice to all.
