National Security Agency proposed Perfect Citizen s surveillance and coordination program. Program would give agency broad capabilities to monitor certain networks belonging to companies that run nuclear power plants, electric utilities and other services that are deemed vital to national security. Program will be run by the NSA, which is the ultimate black box; everything goes in and virtually nothing comes out. Security experts and privacy advocates are worried that the program will expand the government’s surveillance of private citizens, further eroding what little privacy Americans still enjoy.
