The amicus brief was filed late Sunday night in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. It says the order harms U.S. business, innovation and growth as a result. The companies argue that the order is discriminatory and that it makes it harder to recruit, hire and retain the worlds best employees. A federal judge ruled against the order on Friday and the appeals court has since reinstated it.
