97 companies file brief against Trumps immigration ban

The amicus brief was filed late Sunday night in the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals. It says the order harms U.S. business, innovation and growth as a result. The companies argue that the order is discriminatory and that it makes it harder to recruit, hire and retain the worlds best employees. A federal judge ruled against the order on Friday and the appeals court has since reinstated it. The brief is expected to be heard in a hearing later this week, but the judge’s ruling was overturned.”]
