Wine 4.0 Available with Vulkan, Direct3D 12, Game Controller Support

The Wine 4.0 release adds a number of major new features such as support for the cross-platform Vulkan and the Windows Direct3D 12 3D graphics APIs, as well as for Android High-DPI and game controllers. The Wine release also comes with more than 6,000 improvements and fixes after roughly one year of development. Wine also enables high-resolution 256×256 icons in PNG format, and allows detailed BIOS information queries on Linux platforms. The release is available on the WineHQ website and binary packages for all the supported platforms are available.
