Windows XP SP2 Registry Hack Gets Updates

People still running the now-retired Windows XP Service Pack 2 (SP2) can still trick the operating system into installing security updates, finds a researcher. Data exposed included search terms, location coordinates, and device information but no personal data. Microsoft is offering rewards of up to $30,000 for researchers to hunt out vulnerabilities in its new Chromium-based Edge browser.
