A website has posted a tool for jailbreaking Windows RT devices. The site, xda-developers, lists a set of desktop apps reported to work on jailbroken Windows RT tablets. Microsoft says it’s actively investigating the jailbreak tool and will take whatever action it deems appropriate. Asus is considering a Windows 8 Padfone based on Android and a tablet that snaps into the back of a larger screen to become a tablet. HP CEO Meg Whitman says HP will stick with Windows 8 despite its early failure to turn around the PC industry.”]
