Microsoft has released Windows 10 Build 19624 to the Fast ring with fixes for issues affecting the Windows Update service that can lead to errors and prevent updates from being correctly installed. The build also comes with a fix for a deadlock that could result in Windows Update failing with error code 0x800700b7. Microsoft has also updated the ‘optional Updates Available’ section shown within Windows Update’s settings to allow users to copy the displayed text in case they need it. The new build also provides Insiders with quick access to trusted info regarding the coronavirus pandemic via the Windows search bar.
