The Internet Society is moving to change the fragile global routing infrastructure that underlies the Internet. In 2014, ISOC introduced its Mutually Agreed Norms for Routing Security (MANRS) initiative. The initiative has more than quadrupled in its first two years, growing from its initial nine network operators to 42 network operators today.
