What Adobe’s Decision to Kill Mobile Flash Means to You

Adobe today announced plans to kill mobile Flash development. Apple’s mobile Safari browser–found on its various iOS devices, including the iPhone, iPod and iPad–has never supported Flash. Adobe will “continue to provide critical bug fixes and security updates for existing device configurations” Adobe says its Adobe AIR technology and HTML 5 are the future of mobile Web development. BlackBerry and Android users with Flash devices will be able to continue using their Flash-compatible applications and services with no need to worry about future security implications.”]
