Some Uber customers have taken to Twitter to reveal that their accounts have been used by unknown, unauthorized people to book and pay for rides, sometimes in markets other than the U.S. Uber told Motherboard in a statement that it found no evidence of a breach. The easiest thing you can do to protect your Uber account is actually to change your password to something unique, so hackers who have stolen credentials from other services cant reuse them on Uber.
