Vulnerability Spotlight: Adobe Acrobat Reader DC text field remote code execution vulnerability

Adobe Acrobat Reader DC 2019.8.20071 is impacted by this vulnerability. If the user tricks the user into opening a PDF with two specific lines of JavaScript code, it will trigger an incorrect integer size promotion, leading to heap corruption. The user could also trigger this bug if they open a specially crafted email attachment. Cisco Talos worked with Adobe to ensure that these issues are resolved and that an update is available for affected customers. The following SNORT.org rules will detect exploitation attempts.”]
