VSDC Site Hacked Again to Spread Password Stealing Malware

Free multimedia editor VSDC’s website was breached again by hackers, this time the download links were being used to distribute a banking trojan and an info stealer. The free multimedia editor’s website has around 1,3 million users every month. At least 565 users had their computers tainted with the Win32.Bolik.2 banking Trojan, while another 83 downloaded VSDC software infected with KPOT Stealer. VSDC developers were notified about the threat and download links have been restored to the originals.
