Roopangi Kadakia has been appointed CISO at the Department of Veterans Affairs. She most recently served as web services executive in NASAs Office of the CIO. She replaces Brian Burns, who left in June for another public sector job. Kadakia also spent 4 years as an IT specialist with the Peace Corps. She has a master’s degree in Social Work from The University of Texas at Arlington and a bachelor’s in Psychology from Trinity University. She will start in the new role on July 24.”]
