A new technique has been developed by security researcher Samy Kamkar. The technique reduces the time it takes to send a fixed code from several minutes to less than 10 seconds. It works on several different types of garage door openers, including those made by NSCD and others by the same company. Kamkar has released the code to the public, but says it’s not working on any of his new toys that can’t be fixed in time for the public to download and use.
