Three US government agencies have issued a joint alert over a new Chinese malware strain targeting governments, corporations, and think tanks. The agencies claim that the new strain originated from Taidoor, a malware associated with Chinese state-sponsored threat actors. The malware exists in both 32- and 64-bit versions and is deployed as a remote access trojan (RAT) through DLL files.
