John Wellborn has been named VP and chief security officer of Minnesota-based US Bancorp. Wellborn is responsible for overseeing the company’s security and investigations division. He has more than 18 years’ experience in security and emergency management, including positions with Microsoft Global Security and Guaranty Bank in Dallas, Texas.
