Update: ‘This Was a Targeted Attack,’ Says Red Cross

The International Committee of the Red Cross has disclosed a supply chain cyberattack. The organization has appealed to the unidentified attackers to not misuse the data. Names, locations and contact information of more than 500,000 people has been compromised. The ICRC has suspended all access to the compromised systems to mitigate the immediate impact of this attack. No other information at the ICRC was compromised due to the segmentation of the systems. The information originated from at least 60 Red Cross and Red Crescent National Societies around the world.”]
