Unisys Australia is ramping up its staff numbers in Canberra to deliver on the new regional ICT (information communication technology) support services contract with the Australian Department of Defence announced earlier this month. This is the largest deal in the Asia Pacific region for the company and will provide IT support services to 460 defense locations across Australia. The aim of the project is to improve the quality of ICT service delivery at defense bases and sites across Australia, says senior HR business partner, Dominic Welfare.
