Unisys has established a BYOD policy for anyone who wants access to corporate resources from their mobile device. The policy specifies the following: Mobile device usage is governed by an acceptable use policy. Employees must read and sign the policy before IT is allowed to grant access to the user. In the event of litigation, an employees mobile device can be confiscated and used as evidence for an unspecified period of time. The company has clearly thought this through. We are still learning about the productivity benefits and security risks associated with mobile devices.”]
