uKnowKids.com responds to data breach, says proprietary IP also exposed

A misconfigured MongoDB installation at uKnowKids.com exposed 1,700 kids, their social media profiles, and images for at least 48 days. The CEO of the company, Steve Woda, said the exposed database also contained other sensitive information. Woda’s letter stated that the company continues to demand hacker Chris Vickery to delete their database. Vickery deleted his copy of the database, and deleted it after some resistance. The company has identified two IP addresses that accessed the data so far, both of them.”]
