Uber admitted last week that 50,000 drivers’ names and license numbers were hacked by an unknown party. Uber has subpoenaed GitHub to get IP address of anyone who might have accessed the site over seven months in 2014. The taxi-booking biz has refused to explain why Uber has waited more than five months to subpoena GitHub. Uber hopes it will find an online breadcrumb trail from the gist to whoever hacked its systems. Uber hasn’t publicly confirmed what was on GitHub or who was responsible.”]
