Christian Haschek tried to sell some Apple gift cards online that he won in a competition. But he handed over the gift card codes and didn’t receive any money in return. The gift card robber had used the same usernames on eBay and Reddit. He tried to fade away, but security researcher managed to track down the scammer. He contacted his brother and mother online to find out who he is and take legal action against him. The scammer’s full name was eventually revealed to security researcher. He is only 22 years old, but police are unlikely to catch him.”]
