Trickbot Trojan Gets IcedID Proxy Module to Steal Banking Info

Trickbot trojan shows that it continues to evolve as its operators have started to deploy a custom proxy module to victims. This new component is derived from BokBot’s code for web injection attacks and works with popular web browsers. The module appears to be adapted specifically for TrickBot or for fraudulent banking operations that rely on the installer of this malware family. Trickbot has always been a serious threat, ever since its appearance in 2016; but these days it is cited more frequently in reports from both the security industry and the media.
