Travelex currency exchange suspends services after malware attack

UK-based currency exchange Travelex forced offline following a malware attack on New Years Eve. Travelex operates more than 1,500 stores globally and operates in London-based stores. The company confirmed that no customer data has been compromised to date, but did not reveal the type of malware that infected its systems. The outage has a domino effect on other companies, such as Tesco Bank, Virgin Money Travel and HSBC, that rely on Travelex to provide currency exchange services.”]
