Anthony Eugene Vaughn, 30, arrested in largest identity-theft case in Thurston County’s history. More than 1,000 victims statewide had their driver’s licenses, credit cards and Social Security numbers stolen. Detectives think Vaughn had accomplices who stole documents during car prowls and residential burglaries. Some of the individual losses outlined in court papers total more than $7,000, court papers state. The evidence seized when detectives served the search warrant filled more than 40 boxes, police say.
