Yesterday I testified at a hearing on Protecting America from Cyber Attacks: The Importance of Information Sharing. This was my fifth appearance at a government hearing. I had to strike a tone and write in a way that would be accessible to the Senators and staffers. I thought that reform of the CFAA to address some of the security community’s concerns would help build goodwill and reduce opposition to other security-themed legislation.
