This has been quite a busy week with lots of new variants, new ransomware attacks, and new information coming out about the REvil/Sodinokibi Ransomware RaaS attacks. Of particular interest this week were the attacks on U.S. and Australian hospitals, FTCode ransomware targeting Italy, an alert from the FBI, and a great report from McAfee on the GandCrab/Revil MSP attacks. In the first nine months of 2019, at least 621 government entities, healthcare service providers and school districts were affected by ransomware.
