Tor Project has released a new version of its ‘onion’ network, the largest free online anonymity network. The new version includes new cutting-edge encryption algorithms and improved security features. It will soon replace the current onion network and become the default implementation. The updates are available for the alpha release of Tor 0.3.2.1-alpha that includes support for the next generation onion services, with the integration of new cutting edge encryption algorithms. The directory system has also been designed entirely to “defend against info leaks and reduce the overall attack surface”
