The Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) and Exterro survey shows the ever-increasing role of Chief Legal Officers (CLOs) as key business partners. Survey also provides insights to the response of in-house legal departments and insights to future plans in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. Survey found that respondents are increasingly assuming responsibility for their company’ privacy function, expanding their legal operations capacity, and (in one department out of three) planning to hire new lawyers.
