Government organizations are the target of nearly two-thirds of all ransomware attacks, Barracuda report says. Without resources to mitigate or prevent these attacks, governments tend to pay. The only sure way to prevent attacks is to catch them before they take place, authors say. It’s unfair that our choices are either to pay or not to pay, they say. It’s also unfair that hackers pick on the weakest, the ones with the least resources, they also say. We have to work very hard to prevent them from succeeding.”]
