Tesla Accuses Insider of Stealing Gigabytes of Data

Tesla has filed a lawsuit against a former employee, alleging he “unlawfully hacked the company’s confidential and trade secret information” The lawsuit names Martin Tripp, a former process technician at Tesla’s Gigafactory in Nevada. Tesla is seeking $1 million in damages. But Tripp says he’s a whistleblower whose reputation is being smeared as a result of his actions. Tesla CEO Elon Musk told employees over the weekend that he had been a saboteur inside Tesla. Tesla builds electric vehicles, energy storage devices and solar panels.”]
