Tennessee-based Tennessee Electric Company Inc. was hit by a $327,000 cyberheist in May, 2012. If it proceeds to trial, the lawsuit could make it easier and cheaper for cyberheists to recover losses. The lawsuit could help set a more certain and even more certain standard for figuring out whos at fault when businesses are hit by cyber heists.
