Target has hired a new Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Brad Maiorino is its new senior vice president and chief information security officer. He will be responsible for managing Target’s technology risk strategy and for taking steps to avoid a repeat of the massive data breach at the company last year. The move comes six months after the company disclosed a massive breach that exposed data on about 40 million credit and debit cards and personal data on 70 million customers.
