Switcher: Android joins the attack-the-router club

Trojan.AndroidOS.Switcher is a misbehaving Android trojan that attacks the Wi-Fi network the user is connected to. The malware changes the addresses of the DNS servers in the routers settings, thereby rerouting all DNS queries to the servers of the cybercriminals. The attack is also known as DNS-hijacking. The trojan was designed to work on a wide range of routers and works in an asynchronous mode mode (888)”]
