Students Hack High School WiFi to Get Out of Tests

Two 14-year-old students at Secuacus High School in Secaucus, New Jersey, are being charged with computer criminal activity and conspiracy to commit computer crime. The two 14 year-olds are accused of using a program or app to attack the school’s WiFi to cause it to crash or become too congested for students to access the online curriculum. It is not known if the were doing it as a favor for their friends or as a paid-for service. Last month we reported on two other cases where students hacked into their school’s systems.
