A former high school student has pleaded guilty to installing spyware on school computers. The student, now 21, is due to be sentenced on August 26. He had been facing a maximum of 38 years in prison on the felony burglary and public-record tampering charges. He will be sentenced to 30 days in jail, 500 hours of community service and ordered to pay $15,000 in restitution. The other student pleaded guilty in September 2008 to the same charge in April 2008, when he broke into the school’s office.”]
