Source code for Carberp financial malware gets leaked online

The source code for the Carberp financial malware has been leaked online, researchers say. Researchers from Russian cybercrime investigations firm Group-IB confirmed the leak is real. The leak increases the risk that other cybercriminals will create their own variants based on it, they say. Last week, a member of the Carp gang offered to sell the code for onlyS$5,000 for only S$5k. The sourcecode for Zeus, one of the most popular online banking Trojan programs to date, was leaked in April 2011.”]
