Sony Takes Down PlayStation Network After URL Error

A Web glitch gave hackers a way to take over users’ accounts. Sony was forced to take part of its Sony PlayStation Network offline on Wednesday. The company had been bringing its PlayStation Network and Qriocity sites back online since Saturday. The problem was due to a “vulnerability in the password reset form,” a Sony spokesman says. Sony’s other network, the Sony Online Entertainment network, is apparently unaffected by the glitch.About 77 million gamers use the PSN, which continues to operate online.”]
