Sony Must Secure Networks, Analysts Say

At least three attacks have been reported against Sony systems since mid-April. Sony’s hard-line stance on copyright protection has earned it several enemies within the hacker community. The attacks suggest Sony may have more work to do securing its networks than it might have bargained for. Sony appears to have done little to protect its massive presence on the Internet, analyst Phil Lieberman said. The company’s ongoing security travails is sure to be taking a heavy toll on both its reputation and on consumer confidence in the company.”]
