The hackers were able to access the email accounts of then-acting Secretary Chad Wolf and his staff. The Department of Energy and the Federal Aviation Administration were also among the agencies affected by the attack. The Biden administration is taking steps to address the aftereffects of the massive operation throughout the federal government.
