Snort rule update for Nov. 1, 2018

Snort Subscriber Rule Set Update for Nov. 1, 2018. The latest update provides coverage against the Octopus malware, a Windows trojan that’s been spotted in Eastern Asia. There were no changes made to the snort.conf in this release. Instead, only five new rules, of which two are shared object rules. There are also 17 modified rules, none of which are shared objects, and none of them are included in the new rules. This latest update is the latest in the SNORT.com ruleset.”]
