Skype fixes email security flaw

Skype has fixed a security hole which allowed anyone with your email address to hijack the account. The password reset bug was originally discussed on an underground Russian forum three months ago. Microsoft recently announced that it will ditch Windows Live Messenger, aka MSN Messenger, in favour of Skype which it acquired last year. Skype suspended the password reset feature temporarily this morning as a precaution and have made updates to the password. The company apologised for the inconvenience and reached out to a small number of users affected.”]
