Kaspersky Lab suspects Iran was hit with Duqu in April 2011. Iranian official says some computers in Iran had been infected with the Trojan Trojan. An antivirus researcher says Iran’s policy of not sharing samples delayed detection of the malware. The keylogger that Iran identified as “Stars” malware was likely a part of Duqu, the Russian-based firm says. The malware may be a precursor to another Stuxnet, but the former seems designed for reconnaissance and data theft, not for an attack on physical facilities.”]
