NETGEAR is aware of a security vulnerability in Samba version 3.5.0 and later, reported on CVE-2017-7494, that can allow an attacker with write access to execute code remotely. The vulnerability potentially affects the following products, including the following operating systems: 4.1, 4.2, 5.x, and 6.x.
