Security luminary Bruce Schneier isn’t surprised by a report that massive investment in CCTV cameras to prevent crime in the UK has failed to have a significant impact. Schneier: “Investments in CCTV have failed to achieve any significant impact on crime in UK. Every second counts when it comes to mitigating cyberattacks and resolving network performance issues, we need to be on top of the list. We are happy to clarify that this is not the first time CCTV cameras have been installed in the U.S.”]
