A recent phishing campaign has been targeting Chrome extension developers. Hackers have been using an email address to trick them into giving away their account details. It’s not known how many people have fallen victim to the scam, but it’s likely they will be used to hack into legitimate Chrome extensions and steal data from other extensions to download more malicious software. The campaign is not the most sophisticated phishing attempt, but some of the victims have already been caught out of their own account details and are encouraged to report them.”]
