Russian agency buys typewriters to avoid leaks and cyber-spying

Russia’s Federal Protection Service has placed an order for 20 typewriters and 600 ink cartridges. The total cost for the machines is expected to reach up to 486,500 rubles (about $15,000) The devices are specifically designed to print classified documents. Each machine has a unique font that can be used to trace any leaked printouts back to their source. The order comes amid rising concerns about the USAs electronic surveillance program and allegations politicians were bugged during the 2009 G20 summit in London.”]
