Russian a Suspect in German Parliament Hack: Report

Alleged Russian hacker believed to be part of elite Russian military cyber espionage unit. Dmitriy Sergeyevich Badin, 29, is suspected of hacking the network of Germany’s parliament five years ago. Badin was indicted in 2018 by the U.S. Justice Department on various charges related to interference in the 2016 presidential election. The German attorney general’s office obtained an international arrest warrant for Badin this week. A Russian official denied Badin’s involvement in the 2015 incident, Sueddeutsche Zeitung reports.”]
