Rootkit Variant Now Targets 64-Bit Windows

The infamous keylogger has shifted its targeting tactics and now collects stored credentials for less-popular web browsers and email clients. The newly discovered Python-based malware family targets the Outlook processes, and browser credentials, of Microsoft Windows victims. Attackers are targeting the critical remote code-execution flaw to compromise systems in the healthcare, local government, logistics and legal sectors, among others.
